About Team Development
St. Albert HockeyFit is proud again to announce its team development services. This year we offering both on-ice and off-ice training.
For the 2024-25 season, we will be offering to come out to team practices in the Edmonton and surrounding areas at a cost of $185/hr + tax.
Includes:
1 instructors on-ice ( $130.00 for anther instructor or goalie coach )
A lesson plan sent out ahead of practice
Training themes and skills offered:
Forward progression - toe drag, pulls, shifting, asymmetrical movement
Backward progression - toe drag, pulls, shifting, asymmetrical movement
Agility and puck control - explosive acceleration
Shooting - reactionary, tight quarters, dragging
Shot blocking - one leg, positioning, superman
Checking - angling, stick checks, puck control, awareness, positioning, body contact and checking
Gap control
Pivoting and transitioning
Passing
For the 2024-25 season, HockeyFit will be running off-ice workouts at the Velocity Skills hockey gym at a cost of $235/hr + tax. The Velocity Skills gym is located beside Servus Place in St. Albert, AB.

HOCKEYHIIT - Hockey high-intensity interval training (HIIT or Tabata)
Plyometrics
Calisthenics
Sprinting
Shooting and Stickhandling on synthetic ice
Hockey treadmill workouts for an extra $50.00
